DEJAN DOVŽAN received the university degree from electrical engineering at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia in 2008 and PhD in 2013. He was and is involved in several successful project for the industry and academia: developing the electrical energy market model for GEN-I d.o.o.; co-operating with VOIGT+WIPP Engineers GmbH on transferring the Simulink models into the Matlab scripts; research voucher with Metronik d.o.o. where he was working on energy consumption prediction. He was also involved in Tetracom project (a part of European project that stimulates the transfer of knowledge to the industry) with Evon GmbH, where the goal was to implement the nonlinear identification method SUHICLUST in the company’ s software package. He was also involved in previous ARRS project, where the modeling of electric arc furnace was done. He received many awards for his work. He is also developing a C# application for fuzzy model identification based on data that can be found under link:

- Intelligent methods for decision making support: LSE, PCA, optimization methods (Levenberg-Marquad, PSO, GA, etc.), modeling, neural networks, fuzzy logic, fuzzy models and clustering, adaptive control, model predictive control,
 
- Intelligent methods for data-mining in bio-medical engineering: LSE, PCA, optimization methods (Levenberg-Marquad, PSO, GA, etc.), modeling, neural networks, fuzzy logic, fuzzy models and clustering.
